Save
the date!!! Early Childhood will have a special celebration for Mother’s on May
9th. This celebration will start at 8:30 a.m. We hope that
we can
count with all of our MOMMIES. If there is a Mom that is unable to come,
Aunts and Grandmas are welcome to join the fun! We have planned a fun
filled morning for you and your child. As a contribution to this celebration, we are kindly requesting Lps. 200. Please send them by Tuesday, May 5th. Please wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. Mommies, please dress wearing matching outfits or t-shirts with your child / children. These are some examples for you to consider:
Progress Reports were sent
home last Friday. Please sign and return them on Monday. If you would like to
request a conference, please contact the office to make an appointment with us.
The summons for the Spring
General Assembly will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11th.
A quorum for this assembly is needed for the
approval of the 2019-2020 School
Budget. Please mark your calendar and
support the Board of Directors and the school by attending this assembly and
voting for the important matters that will be presented then.
Parents please mark your
calendars for 10:15 a.m. on Friday, May 24. Because of the great success last
year, we are once again turning our Discovery Idol into a SPRING CONCERT where
our students will showcase their advances in Music Class. We hope to see you
all there!
This week your child will
be reviewing all the Word Walls with various chants and activities. The

We are going to continue
reading Nate the Great. The students will have the chance to act out as
detectives. We will continue discussing the vocabulary and making predictions
about what we think will happen next. Also we are going to be creating a new
ending for the story.
In Math we are going to continue
working with the concept of Time. The children will make a variety of
activities related to time. If you have digital clocks, analog clocks, watches,
timers, alarm clocks, etc. at home we would appreciate to borrow them from you.
In Science we are going to
be starting a new unit. This unit is about Animal Babies. We are going to be
doing a
lot of STEM activities about this magnificent unit. If
you happen to
have any posters, books, stuffed baby animals, etc. we would appreciate to
borrow them from you. Thanks in advance.
