For the rest of First Grade, we are going to continue reading Grasshopper on the Road by Arnold Lobel. The students will be discussing new vocabulary and making predictions about the story. We are also going to be discussing of the ending. If they were the authors, how would they end the story.

In Math, we are going to continue working with interpreting data. The students were introduced to the concept of graphs. Last week we discussed different kinds of graphs. We worked with picture graphs and tallies. We are going to be reinforcing these graphs and introducing a bar graph.
