Great news our Discovery School Tote bags will be sent home Wednesday, April 3rd. We encourage you to use the weekend to have your child involve
family and friends to help out with this great project. CEPUDO donates new and slightly used newborn baby clothes (pajamas,

You are all welcome to come to our classrooms at 8:15 a.m. to see these wonderful experiments the students have been working on. The children are having so much fun learning and being little scientists. On this day we would like to have the students to come dressed as a little scientist. Be creative!!

Our Easter party will be on Wednesday, April 10th. We are requesting for each child to bring 12 plastic eggs. Please send them to school if you have not done so. Water Games are going to be part of the fun! On this day we are requesting for you to pack an extra set of clothes, water games, sunscreen, cap, and a towel.

This week your child will be reviewing all the Word Walls with various chants and activities. The spelling challenge will be on Friday, April 5th. The five new words that we will be introducing this week are:

We will continue our unit on Fairy Tales. We are also going to introduce Fables. We will be learning about the message or moral of them and what are some of their characteristics. Children are writing their own versions of well-known fairy tales. After our Easter Break we are going to make groups to give some fairy tales a twist. The children are having a lot of fun reading and watching different versions of them.

In Math we are going to start a new chapter. We will be introducing the concept of Measurement. This week we are going to focus in length. The students will be measuring different objects using non-standard units of measurement. Please practice with your child at home by finishing the following IXL skills.
