Week 31 March 17- 21

March 17, 2014

Dear Parents,

I hope that everyone had a great weekend!
Thank you to all the parents that donated trinkets. Our “Grade 1 Shop” was a success! The students bought different items, counted coins and identified whether they needed change.  We greatly appreciate your help!

This week your child will be going on a field trip to Chiminike on Wednesday, March 19th. The students will be watching a performance based on the 3 Little Little Pigs. I sent home the permission slip last week. Please have your child bring it back signed by Tuesday March 18th. If you would like to join us on that day, check the box on the form. I will need at least 2 parents to accompany us. Please have your child wear his/her Discovery shirt on that day.

Report cards will be sent home on March 18th.

Our Easter celebration is right around the corner; please have your child bring in a dozen plastic Easter eggs.

Just a reminder that there is no school this Thursday March 20th and Friday, March 21st. Parent /teacher conferences will be held on Thursday afternoon. I will be requesting conferences with some of you. However, if you would like to meet with me let me know.
