Language Arts:
Reading: This week we will reading The Fat Cat Sat On The Mat . The students will enjoy listening and reading this book. We will be practicing a number of different key reading skills.
Writing: Writing complete sentences and exploring different kinds of sentences.
Phonics: Examining 6 new words I, at, be, this, have, they ( spelling challenge on Friday).
Chanting rhymes and sharing books
Math
We will be wrapping up Chapter 2.
Social Studies
Continue to explore our unit on Families.
If anyone has a copy of the book The Hungry Thing we would appreciate it if you could send it to school with your child
Please send in pictures of your family. The students will be making a Family Tree on Friday.We eill be cutting and gluing the pictures on the tree.
