On Wednesday, November 22nd,
we will have a Thanksgiving Lunch, so your child ONLY needs to bring a
snack on this day. There will be no school on Thursday and Friday
(November 23rd and 24th) because of the Thanksgiving
Holidays. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you parents
for being very well organized and working together so we can celebrate together
and have our Thanksgiving Lunch. Thank you for all of your constant support! It is very well
appreciated!
Please remember to send
back progress reports. They went home on Friday in your child's folder.
Don't forget to send in
your 5lbs of sugar. These food items are part of the Christmas food baskets
given to our support staff.

For Discovery School, it is very important to
teach our students about sharing and helping others. Angelitos Del Dia is a
perfect way to help show our kids just how easy this can be and how we can make
a difference in our community.
"Angelitos
del Dia" helps newborn babies born at Materno Infantil Hospital here in
Tegucigalpa. They provide moms with newborn essentials (blankets, pajamas,
socks, hats, wash cloths, towels, diapers, baby wipes, baby soap and baby
shampoo).
Your
child took an empty bag home last week. Please feel free to donate as many
items as you wish by placing them in the bag. A great way to get your
child involved is to go through their baby clothes and have them choose items
they would like to donate. Xtra and Emporio are also
great places to shop for baby items. Please feel free to donate as many
items as you wish.
