Dear Parents, 

We hope you enjoyed your long weekend! We have a great week coming up, so please read everything!

This week your child will be inquiring into the following: 

 This week your child will be reviewing all the Word Walls with various chants and activities. The spelling challenge will be on Friday, May 5th. The six new words that we will be introducing this week are:

 We will finish reading the story Frog and Toad Together by Arnold Lobel.

Your child will finish working on their Mother's Day project to show how thankful they are. 

We are learning about 4 different types of Habitats: oceans, desert, rainforest, arctic, We will also learn how certain animals adapt to live in these habitats. 

This week your child will be learning about two dimensional shapes. 

The children will have a Math Test about on Friday May 5^th.

SUMMER CAMP AT DISCOVERY SCHOOL  - Just like last year, Discovery Zone is back!!! Discovery Zone 8 is a fun, artistic and entertaining camp for children 2 to 9 years old. The camp will run from June 13th to June 30th, with a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00. Transportation is available at a small additional cost. If you or a relative/friend is interested, more information can be given to you by the accounting offices in school.
