Week 15-November 19th-23rd

Dear Parents,

We hope everyone had a great weekend!
We would like to remind all parents to check their child's special teachers' blogs. You will find a link to links to all the blogs on the right hand side under the 'Pages' heading.
Just a reminder that there is no school Thursday, November 22nd, and Friday, November 23rd.
Your child will be inquiring into the following this week:

Language Arts
Phonics- There will be no new words this week. The class will be reviewing the Word Wall words through various chants and word activities.

Reading- You child will review the reading skill, Creating mental pictures. Your child will also be reading information about Thanksgiving.
Writing- Your child will be writing about what he/she is thankful for.

Math-Your child will be learning about shapes that are the same, symmetry and slides, flips and turns.

Theme-The class will continue inquiring into how weather is measured.

Homework
Monday
Reading-Read for at least 10 minutes and fill out the reading log.

Tuesday
