Dear Parents,

We hope everyone had a relaxing weekend!
Individual student and class  pictures for our yearbook will be taken on Tuesday, March 6th.
Easter is not too far away and so we are asking each student to bring in 1 dozen plastic Easter eggs which can be opened. We need them for the Easter activity.
This week your child will inquire into the following:

The students will be inquiring into the elements that make fairytales different from other texts as well as exploring the importance culture has on fairytales. The class will be reading various fairytales to get a better understanding of fairytale elements this week. He/she will use adjectives to write about a drawing and using his/her friend's descriptive sentence, he/she will be asked to draw a picture. You can review parts of speech at home by asking you child to identify nouns, verbs and adjectives in the stories he/she reads and then use those words to create new sentences.
