This week your child will be reviewing all the Word Walls with various chants and activities. The spelling challenge will be on Friday, April 21st. The six new words that we will be introducing this week are:

Earth

Your child will continue learning about Earth Day and the many ways to help our Earth. We will continue focusing on the three R´s (reduce, reuse and recycle)

 We will be talking about Wants and Needs. What do people need to survive? We need air, food, water, shelter, and clothing. Children will learn the difference between needs, which are things people must have to live, and wants, which are things people would like to have. The children should bring one item for needs and another item for wants so we can display them in our Science table.

 This week your child will continue learning about bar graphs and tallies.
