Week of Jan 30- Feb 3



We hope you enjoyed your weekend! 

We would like to thank each one of you for helping out with the 100th Day Celebration. All the projects were spectacular and the children had a great time explaining about them following up with a variety of centers related to this big number!!
This week your child will be inquiring into the following: 


This week your child will be reviewing all the Word Walls with various chants and activities. The spelling challenge will be on Friday, February 3rd.The five new words that we will be introducing this week are:

 For this week, we will learning about Abraham Lincoln for President's Day.
Following our Reading, we will write an informative text on Abraham Lincoln.  



  We will continue our unit in Solids and Liquids. Students will be comparing the different properties of liquids.

This week your child will learn more about making number by the tens and
ones with numbers greater than 100.   We are planning a variety of fun exercises that require students to move around. We would like to ask you for your cooperation in sending in a clipboard for your child to use at school. It would be awesome to have them for Thursday, February 2nd.
