Dear Parents,
We hope you enjoyed your weekend! We have many exciting events for this week, so please reading everything below!
This month your child will have the opportunity to purchase books through the International Scholastic Book Clubs. This is an optional activity offered by the school, in case you want to motivate your child to read at home and to increase their own library. With you purchase, our library will accumulate points to redeem for more books for the benefit of you children in our school. The due date to purchase the books online is January 25. The books will arrive to the school in one single delivery, and we will distribute them to the students according to their orders, approximately three weeks after the purchase due date.
100 Days of School is coming up! It will be celebrated on January 28th. Each student will create a project with 100 items. Students can use their imagination and creativity. The project should include a total of 100 items. The students will present their project to the class. The project must be brought to school on Wednesday, January 27th.
On January 29th, Sunshine School will be joining our school for an intercollegiate sports day. The Student need to wear their Discovery School t-shirt and shorts on that day. If your child does not have a Discovery t-shirt, please talk to Ms. Carolina at the front office. Students should wear sunblock and a cap since we will be outside all day. This day will be a half day, so dismissal is at 11:45am.

**BINGO –
NEW BRICKS4KIDS MODULE – if you did not get a chance to register
your child for the new upcoming module, there are still spaces available for our
students from Kindergarten to Fourth Grade who want to join the fun. This
module’s title is “Cranium Contraptions”. The New module begins today - Monday, January
25, from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m.

DPTO UPCOMING EVENTS – Please support the DPTO in their activities
that aim to foster community building, school pride and fund raising for school
project!
**FUN RUN –
to be held at school on Saturday, January 30 at 8:30 a.m.
will take place on Friday
February19.
VALENTINE’S DAY SALE – The Seniors 2016 will give out flyers this
week so that our students can pre-order their candies, flowers, etc for
Valentine’s Day, which will be celebrated on Friday, February 12. Payment for the orders will be
picked up one week before, on Friday, February 5. The Seniors 2016 thank you in
advance for your cooperation in this activity.
