                                   Dear Parents,

 

We are so excited to have your child in our class. My name is Ms. Colette Tome, this is my seventh year working at Discovery School, and my seventeenth year of teaching. Ms. Giselle Manzanares is new to the Discovery family and is also very excited to be working with your child.

This week first grade will be busy working on our class routines, and procedures, getting to know one another and having fun.

This is your Weekly Letter. A weekly letter like this will be posted every Monday on our class blogspot. You may want to print this and keep it at home. The weekly letter will only be available on our blogspot, so please check it every Monday.

Here are a few reminders:

Student Supplies- Please send in your child’s school supplies as soon as possible. If you have any questions about anything on the list please do not hesitate to contact us.

Label- Please label all of your child's belongings (sweaters, food containers, water bottles etc.)

Students need to bring a water bottle.

We will not be sending home any homework this week; however, it would be great to read with your child 10 minutes each evening.

If you are planning on sending in an extra set of clothes, please feel free to do so. Please send them inside a ziploc bag with their name on it.
