May 28 - June 1

Dear Parents, 

We hope you enjoyed your weekend! This is the last week of first grade and we have many exciting events happening this week. Our last day of school will be June 1st. 

This is going to be a bitter sweet week. It is time to say good- bye to my lovely students but at the same time I know that they are ready to move on in their lives. They are all excited to go to SECOND GRADE… hooray!!! We will devote this week to have fun. We will also be reviewing some key concepts learned throughout the school year. If you have any board games that we can play at school, have your child bring them to share the fun. They can also bring toys that they are willing to share with their friends. Avoid sending in noisy/battery toys or toys that can easily be damaged.

We will be going on a field trip to Alejandro’s Palma social area next to our school for our End of the Year Party. We will be leaving school around 10:15 a.m. and returning back to school around 1:15 p.m. You are going to be contacted by Ms. Gaby Chavez for more details. Thank you for supporting this celebration.

The last day of school… the closing of one door and the opening of another. I want to thank each child for all the warmth, the memories, and the learning that we have shared this school year. To my students I say THANK YOU! For when I teach, I also learn. This past year  we have grow together. A little bit of each of you will always be with me. Always strive to be the BEST that you can be!

To the parents, I say THANK YOU for allowing me to be your child´s First Grade teacher. It has been a wonderful and rewarding year for me. I will love your child always!
