This week, your child will inquire into the following:
Language Arts
Working With Words: Students will be reviewing the word wall words we have studied up to this point through various activities and chants. Due to the short week, we will not have a spelling challenge.
Reading: This week, your child will be reading Froggy’s Day with Dad. Your child will compare and contrast their day with Froggy’s. This will also tie into our writing, where they will have to write about their day with their family.
Writing: Your child will be writing an opinion piece regarding the activities he/she has done with his/her family . They will introduce the topic they are writing about, supply reasons for the opinion and provide some sense of closure.
Math: For this week’s math, the students will finish chapter 1
There are IXL skills I have added to the bottom of the blog. Your child is NOT required to do them. However, it’s a wonderful way to get some extra practice.
